About Aviator.NYC
Airline-Pilot Instructors in Lower Manhattan
Professional flight simulator training delivered by active airline pilots. We build pilots—not passengers—through disciplined practice, airline-grade standards, and personalized instruction in our FAA-certified AATD.
Why We Exist
A Better Way to Train Pilots
We exist to bridge the gap in flight training: airline-pilot instructors, advanced simulators, and a focus on practical, real-world flying.
Traditional flight training has barriers: long commutes to airports, weather cancellations, instructor turnover, and inconsistent schedules. These obstacles delay progress and frustrate students.
We remove these barriers by bringing professional flight training to Manhattan. Our FAA-certified AATD simulator allows consistent, structured training sessions—rain or shine, day or night.
Every instructor is an active airline pilot who brings real-world experience from the flight deck to the training environment. You learn procedures, decision-making, and professionalism from pilots who fly the line every day.
Our Mission
Building Confident, Safe, Disciplined Aviators
We build pilots—not passengers. Our mission is to transform young aviators, new students, licensed pilots, and professionals preparing for advanced aircraft into confident, safe, and disciplined aviators who think clearly, act decisively, and fly with purpose.
We do this by combining airline discipline with personalized instruction in an FAA-certified AATD in Manhattan. The simulator is the cornerstone—just as it is in modern airline training—where procedures, judgment, and repetition build lasting proficiency.
We exist to remove the barriers that stall progress: long commutes to the airport, weather cancellations, instructor churn, and scattered study. We replace them with consistency, clarity, and accountability. Infrequent training stalls momentum; disciplined practice compounds skill.
Standards First
Airline-grade habits taught with patience and precision.
Structured Reps
Simulator → briefing → debriefing in a repeatable rhythm that builds mastery.
Decision-Making
Real scenarios that sharpen judgment, not just stick-and-rudder tasks.
Honesty
We are a dedicated training partner. We supplement your flight school; we do not operate aircraft or sell flights.
Our Values
Professionalism, Safety, and Integrity
Our core values shape every lesson, every briefing, and every interaction at Aviator.NYC. These principles guide how we train, how we operate, and how we serve the aviation community.
Professionalism
We maintain airline-level standards in every aspect of training. From pre-flight briefings to post-flight debriefs, we treat every session with the seriousness and structure of professional aviation.
Safety
Safety is not negotiable. We teach decision-making, risk management, and adherence to procedures that keep pilots and passengers safe in all phases of flight.
Integrity
We are honest about our capabilities and limitations. We supplement flight schools—we don't replace them. We tell students what they need to hear, not what they want to hear.
Passion for Aviation
Every instructor is here because they love flying and teaching. That passion is contagious and creates an environment where learning thrives.
Continuous Improvement
Aviation evolves, and so do we. We stay current with regulations, procedures, and technology to provide the most relevant training possible.
Our Goal for You
Confident Pilots Ready for Real-World Flying
Our end goal is not to maximize your flight hours or extend your training timeline. Our goal is to create confident pilots: trained for real-world flying, proficient in instruments, and prepared to achieve their aviation goals—whether that's a private pilot certificate, instrument rating, or airline career.
We measure success by your proficiency, your confidence, and your ability to make sound decisions under pressure. When you complete training with us, you should feel ready—not just for the checkride, but for the flying that comes after.
We want you to be the pilot who flies with calm confidence, who handles emergencies with clear thinking, and who continues to improve long after you've earned your certificate.
