Who Runs the Party?
Instructors who fly professionally and genuinely enjoy teaching kids. If a child feels nervous, they can watch until they are ready, try an easier scenario, or ride along as co-pilot. There is no pressure: every kid flies at their own pace.

Flight Instructor
Guides every flight, adjusts to each child’s age and confidence, and keeps the rotation moving.
Station Staff
Operators run the VR stations and handle setup, reset, and cleanup of the space.
Certificates and Photos
Every guest gets a flight certificate, and parents are welcome to photograph everything. Bring a pilot logbook (the ASA Standard Pilot Log is the common one) and the instructor signs each child’s first entry; time on the training simulators is real, loggable instruction, while VR room time is recreational.

Working airline pilots who are genuinely good with children. They fly airliners for a living, they explain things at a kid’s pace, and they are patient with the nervous ones.

Founder of Aviator.NYC, Julian is an FAA Gold Seal Certified Flight Instructor with over 4,500 hours of instructional time. He has flown everything from gliders to charter jets to wide body airliners and earned all his instructor ratings while serving on active duty.
Elijah Burgess (ATP, CFII)
ERJ Captain, Republic Airways
Elijah Burgess is an FAA Gold Seal Certified Flight Instructor and the founder of EBFlight.com. He holds a B.S. in Aeronautical Science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and currently flies the ERJ-170/190 as a Captain for Republic Airways.
William Wong (ATP, CFII)
CRJ First Officer, Major U.S. Airline
William Wong is an accomplished aviator and educator with significant experience in flying Pilatus PC-12s across the Northeast and Caribbean. His instructional background in South Florida is marked by a 100% passing rate, demonstrating his skill as a flight instructor.

How Does the Party Work?
Pick your space and date
Choose a simulator party, the VR room, or the full studio for big groups. Tell us the headcount and ages.
Kids rotate, party rolls
Each child takes the controls with the instructor while the rest of the group enjoys food and the party space.
Cake, photos, certificates
Cake on the galley cart, photos at the controls, and a certificate for every guest.
How Many Kids Can Come?
Plan to 10 kids for parties under 14, whatever the configuration. Ages 8 to 10 fit best in the two-hour format, and ages 11 to 13 can take up to three hours. Both cap at 10 so every child gets real time at the controls.

The two-hour party, up to 10 kids. Younger kids fly shorter, simpler scenarios and can share a simulator four at a time.
Ages 11 to 13
Up to three hours and up to 10 kids. Longer turns, harder scenarios, and routes they pick themselves.
Your adults run the kids
Our crew runs the flying and resets the space. Bring at least one adult per 5 kids, never fewer than 2, for the whole party. Parents are always welcome to stay and watch.
Teens 14 and up
Teen and sweet-16 groups follow the standard guest capacities, up to the full private studio.
What Will the Kids Actually Fly?
Three stations, and a party can use one or all of them. Kids rotate through with staff at every machine, so nobody waits long for a turn at the controls.
VR Room (2 motion simulators)
Both VR flight simulators with a dedicated operator. Fighter-jet missions or training airplanes, and your group picks.
- Two units that run different aircraft at the same time: one can fly a training airplane while the other flies a fighter jet
- P-51 Mustang formation flights and GA airplanes today, with more fighter-jet missions to come
- The recreational station: not FAA approved, and the easiest seat for a guest with zero experience
Best for ages 10 and up.
G1000 Flight Simulator
Flight training airplanes, a Cessna 172 and similar. This is the certified equipment people train in toward a license.
- Flies the trainers most pilots learn in: Cessna, Piper, and Beechcraft models
- Garmin G1000 avionics, the workhorse of modern flight training, in production since 2004 and still shipping today as the G1000 NXi
- FAA-approved training device on Precision Flight Controls hardware: with an instructor, the time is real, loggable training
Fixed base, so there is no motion and no queasy kids.
Cirrus G3000 Simulator
The Cirrus SR series, the airplane famous for its whole-airframe parachute. Expected online at the new Midtown studio no later than November 1, 2026.
- Flies the Cirrus SR20 and SR22, with the CAPS whole-airframe parachute built into the real airplane
- Touchscreen Garmin G3000 avionics, just like the real Cirrus, the same suite found in single-pilot jets
- Option to step up to the Vision Jet, the only civilian jet with a parachute; the displays and throttle quadrant change with it

Can We Bring Cake and Food?
Always. The party space and vintage galley cart are yours: pizza, snacks, and cake between flights. At the Midtown studio we can also arrange party catering for you, for a fee quoted per event.

Kids rotate through the captain’s seat while the rest of the group hangs out with pizza and cake. Each child taxis, takes off, flies over the city, and tries a landing with the instructor right beside them.
