A flight simulator holiday party at Aviator.NYC puts your group in the captain's seat of a professional flight simulator instead of around another restaurant table. Groups of 2 to 20 guests rotate through the simulators at our new Midtown Manhattan studio, opening October 2026, guided by instructors who fly professionally for major airlines. You rent the space itself at a flat price, from $520 for a two-hour single-simulator event up to $3,500 for three hours of the entire private studio, so the cost does not change with headcount.

What Is a Flight Simulator Holiday Party?
It is a private event where your group flies professional flight simulators with an airline pilot instructor, at our Midtown Manhattan studio. You book the space for two or three hours. Guests rotate through the captain's seat, and everyone else watches the flight deck from the lounge.
The format solves the two problems every office holiday party runs into. People who do not know each other well have nothing to do but make conversation over food, and the people who do know each other end up talking about work. Here the room has a focus. Someone is always flying, everyone else is watching a takeoff or a landing happen on the flight deck, and the conversation takes care of itself.
No one needs flying experience. The instructor sets up each flight, handles everything technical, and talks each guest through it. First-time flyers land the aircraft on their first try more often than not.

How Much Does a Holiday Party Cost?
Holiday parties are priced by the space, not per person, from $520 for a two-hour single-simulator event to $3,500 for three hours of the entire private studio. Headcount does not change the price. It sets the duration, since larger groups need the three-hour format for everyone to fly.

- Group size picks the duration: about two guests per machine fits the two-hour event, and larger groups take the three-hour event so everyone gets meaningful time at the controls.
- Reserving two or more stations includes the lounge and briefing area. The full facility option is the only fully private configuration.
- Staff run every station, and setup and cleanup are included. One flight instructor is included; a second is $130 per hour for the event duration.
- Catering is not included. Bring your own, or we arrange it and quote it per event.
- VR room prices step up once the motion platforms go live. The Cirrus G3000 is expected online no later than November 1, 2026, and G3000 and full-office events are quote-only until it is.
How Many People Can You Host?
Between 2 and 20 guests. A single simulator suits small teams of up to 6 in the three-hour format. The full studio, with the VR room and both simulators running, holds up to 20 guests and is the only configuration that gives you the whole place privately.
Headcount drives duration rather than price. Roughly two guests per machine fits comfortably into a two-hour event. Past that, the three-hour format is what keeps everyone from waiting around, because each guest still gets real time at the controls rather than a token turn.
Larger teams usually take the full facility. With three stations running at once, twenty people cycle through without a queue forming, and the lounge holds everyone who is between flights.

What's Included in a Holiday Party?
The space, the staffing, and the flying. Every station has a trained operator, one airline pilot instructor is included, and setup and cleanup are handled. You bring the food and any decorations you want, or we quote catering per event.

Every event includes one instructor who flies professionally. A second instructor is available as an add-on for larger groups running two simulators at once.
A trained operator on every station
The VR room runs with its own operator, and the full facility adds a support operator. Nobody from your team has to run anything.
The lounge and briefing area
Any event using two or more stations includes the lounge, which is where guests between flights end up. The full facility books the entire studio privately.
Setup and cleanup
Folded into the price and never itemized. You show up, and you leave when the event ends.
Can We Bring Food and Drinks?
Yes. Most groups bring their own food and drinks, or have them delivered to the studio. We can also arrange catering and quote it as part of your event. Tell us which you prefer when you request a quote, and we will build it into the plan.
The lounge is where food goes, and it is also where guests naturally gather between flights, so it does double duty across the evening. If you are having something delivered, we will coordinate the timing so it lands when people are ready for it rather than mid-flight.
Is It Fun for People Who Do Not Care About Flying?
Yes, and this is the most common question we get from event planners. Guests who have no interest in aviation still want a turn once they watch a colleague land at an airport they recognize. The flight deck is the draw, not the hobby.
The instructor tailors each flight to who is sitting down. Some guests want to fly over a city they know. Some want to try a landing in bad weather and see what happens. Some want to sit in the right seat, work the radios, and let someone else fly. All of those are real roles on a flight deck, and all of them are more engaging than standing in a room holding a drink.

Where Are You, and When Should We Book December Dates?
Holiday events run at our new Midtown Manhattan studio, opening October 2026. December fills first, so groups holding a specific date should inquire well ahead. We confirm dates in the order inquiries arrive, and the new event menu is quote-first until online booking opens.
Our current studio is in Hudson Square, Lower Manhattan, at 131 Varick St, by appointment only. The Midtown studio opens October 2026 with the VR room and the G1000 simulator, and the Cirrus G3000 simulator is expected online no later than November 1, 2026. Every holiday event runs at the new studio.
Online booking for the event menu opens once the G3000 delivery date is confirmed. Until then, holiday parties are arranged through a quote, which also lets us match the configuration to your headcount and the date you want.
