What You Will Learn
- P — Power to IDLE (reduce power completely)
- A — Ailerons NEUTRAL (let go of the yoke left/right)
- R — Rudder OPPOSITE to the spin direction
- E — Elevator FORWARD (push the yoke forward to break the stall)
Simulator Steps
- Instructor enters a spin to the left
- You call out: P — POWER IDLE (pull throttle back)
- A — AILERONS NEUTRAL (center the yoke)
- R — RUDDER OPPOSITE (right rudder to stop left spin)
- E — ELEVATOR FORWARD (push yoke forward until rotation stops)
- When rotation stops: neutralize rudder, pull back to recover, add power
