Touch and Go

Big Idea

A touch-and-go is landing, then immediately taking off again without stopping. It is the best way to practice landings.

Fun Fact

Student pilots typically do 50-100 touch-and-goes before their first solo flight!

Challenge

Can you do 3 touch-and-goes in a row without the instructor helping?

  2. Land on the runway — wheels touch, keep it straight
  3. Quickly: flaps UP, throttle FULL
